In the late 70's, Chicago's own Captain Sky released a string of classic Funk / Disco records that added to the backbone of what would become House as well as Hip Hop. "Moon Child" is one of those songs that is played by DJ's worldwide to this day. The Captain connected with one of Chicago's early House visionaries, Vince Lawrence, to re-create this classic. Vince then brought the new record to Mirror Ball boss Terry Hunter to do what he does best... add a version of his own. The result is a breath of fresh air into Captain Sky's brilliant tune!
