In 1982 Phoenix were called Heavy Weather, from Camden NJ. They decided to change their name because they were getting confused by radio deejays and promoters as being the band Weather Report. So it was decided to change the name to Phoenix and their motto was 'Phoenix is the Phunk'. Their track “Luscious” has a digital release in a new collaboration with the nudisco mix by HP Vince.
