We're thrilled to welcome to the label DJ/Producer Stoim a.k.a Kostas Stoimenidis, a staple of the Toronto house scene and a seasoned producer who has been placing superb quality house work on labels such as Nervous Records, King Street, Soulstice and Grooveboom just to name a few.

With a sound that span all across the different shades of house encompassing everything from soulful, disco to afro and deeper vibes, here he present us with a piece titled 'Yemaya' as he proceed to honor the Yoruba goddess of the sea with rich filled groove that features the sampled vocals of one of the traditions famous 'Akpon' or ritualistic singers the late Lazaro Ros from Cuba.

Music starts with a powerful bass line that will carry the whole spectrum of sounds as things lift up. As the music awakes ens, so does some carefully layered bata percussion on top of a minimalistic afro house beat. A stream of textures that come and go, just as the sea waves raises the music tides and everything gets crowned with the magical Yoruba chant that infuse this afro house piece with a ritualistic aura.

Spiritual elevation reaches dance floor as Stoim's Yemaya unfolds.
