Matter of Perception is an uplifting, soulful house song that reflects on the complex dynamics of life and the internal dialog one finds themselves having about purpose, how they're living their lives and whether they'll succeed in doing things the same way. It opens with feelings of doubtful self-reflection and takes the scenic route through questions of whether the lifestyle choices one makes puts them in control of their life or perhaps puts their whims and ever-changing will in the driver's seat. Finally, the hopefulness about life and the ability to turn away from the same old things takes the listener into a celebration of knowing that we can change at any time we want and it's alright to not have the answers to all of life's questions right now.
