MOTION SEVERN

Motion Severn are a collaboration duo with Dave Jones (Cardiff, UK) and Sean McCabe (Bristol, UK), named after the bridge that separates them.

Dave & Sean's relationship stretches back to 2000 where Dave offered Sean his first DJ gigs in Cardiff.

Paying homage to their shared love of the classic Strictly Rhythm & Red Zone Dub sounds, their work here recreates & reimagines that classic era of house music but for a new generation to enjoy.

Dave Jones (DJ and promoter) held residencies in Cardiff throughout the 90's at 'Time Flies' and co-promoted one of South Wales most successful house nights 'Lamerica'. He also appeared regularly at the likes of Ministry Of Sound, Fabric, The End, Turnmills, Garage City, Back 2 Basics and Hard Times, Miss Moneypennies and overseas at Pacha and Space in Ibiza.

Dave's latest venture is his 'Spacelab' podcast and events, covering 6 decades of dance music across the genres.
