NITA FUNK

Spanish DJ born and raised in France, her most noticeable inspirations derive from Funk, Disco and Soul. These influences are deconstructed in her sets that break
down a pure and elegant House, Funk, Nu-Disco and Soulful sound without losing those more evolving sounds such as Deep and Jackin'.
She has held residencies in Bugatti 80's going over different genres that carved the
past decade, in Macao Lounge (Altea), Manero Club, El Portal and Barrazero in Alicante.
She's a promoter of Vinyl Choice, a Funk, Disco and Early House Music solely relying on Vinyl and Studio Chic. Her sets are shared on various radio stations such as Radio Senza Frontiere (RSF), Radio Clubbers (Spain), Pressure Radio & SG1 (UK), Profound Radio (UK), The Brown's Live Show (South Africa), Distancia Radio (Ibiza - Spain).
Since she began in 2009, Nita Funk has DJ'd with her unmistakable sound in clubs
that form a big part in moulding electronic culture to the scene in Alicante such as Zklub, Desafinado, Isla Marina, Metro Dance Club, Velice, Marmarela, Mint, Artespiritu, Cocoon, Gaudí and in others including La Muralla, La Oveja Negra, La Antoñita and Moss Club in Murcia, El Jardín (Cádiz), Lario's Café (Madrid), Areia (Madrid), Skynight – Hotel Puerta América (Madrid), D'Vicio (Madrid), One Ocean (Barcelona), BY Safe House (Barcelona), Rooftop Hotel MIM (Sitges), Tamarindo Patio Bar (Orense), Cotton Beach Club (Ibiza), Malanga Café (Ibiza), Minus80 Bar (Ibiza) and in Vanity Club (Casablanca Morocco). She has also participated in events and festivals such as ADE - WOH Showcase
(Amsterdam), MEED Festival (Spain), Vocal Booth Weekender (Spain), Ambiguous (Spain), BEME (Black Electronic Music Event - Barcelona), Housebox (Spain). She is part of some Djs collectives and projects such as SoulfulHouse Collective (Germany), Soulfulhouse Barcelona (Spain), SoulfulHouse DJ'S (UK), Emotion Lanzarote (Spain), and House Nation Music (Italy). She has also been a two-time Special Guest to play at Bee Live Worlds Anniversaries in Madrid, a national level event organised by DJ Bee. She has developed her sets accompanied by musicians like Izhar and Pakito Baeza (percussionists), Herbert Perez (violinist), Andrii Mishakov (saxophonist) and Vocalists such as Soulfeenix and Janyssha Lyon.
