NIKIA SUNCHILD, a producer, DJ & label owner rooted in the city of San Diego, CA, embarked on his musical journey at the age of 17. Initially drawn to hip hop beats, Nikia's path took an unexpected turn as he immersed himself in the city's underground rave scene, where he discovered a newfound passion for trance music.

Experimenting with blending trance melodies into his hip hop productions, Nikia's sound underwent a transformative shift, leading him to explore the world of DJing and live performance. With the help of a high school friend and collaborator, he gradually expanding his repertoire began spinning at local raves under the rave duo 'beatzandbass' and eventually found a home in the Afro-Latin house music scene, notably at events like TOOMBAO and CHOCOLATE.

Today, Nikia's musical style reflects a unique fusion of his hip hop & trance roots with house and techno influences. Alongside his DJ endeavors, Nikia founded 'Moor Rhythm,' a music label aimed at fostering global connections through dance music and collaboration.
