CUT MISTAKE MUSIC

Cut Mistake Music was conceived by label founder Connor Whiriskey somewhere between the day dream induced soundscapes of My Bloody Valentine's loveless on the western seaboard of Ireland and the haze filled manic energy of New York City dance floors.
The idea behind this label is to provide a means of capturing the vibrant energy that surrounds me here in my home borough of Brooklyn and the streets of Manhattan on which my feet pound each day. The energy that is captured both sonically and visually by a wonderful group of people that I am lucky enough to call my peers and more importantly my friends. The labels function is provide a means of archieving the fruits of our imagination and to inspire those we know and those we have never met both hope to touch with our work
The first release came from the hearts & minds of the label founder 'cnnr' (Connor Whiriskey) and good friends 'No Regular Play' (Nicholas DeBruyn & Greg Paulus).
The second release is a collaboration of kinds. John Hughes Daydream is a project born in Brooklyn with one foot straddled across the east river to a 12th floor studio overlooking Broadway. Conceived and created in the digital realm between binary electronic vibrations and silver screen inspirations.
