The Manta Trust has announced a five-year plan, dedicated to conserving these extraordinary beings. With four key goals, they are dedicated to reducing bycatch and targeted catch, minimizing discarded bycatch and entanglement, protecting from human intrusion, and inspiring positive action. Manta rays are listed as vulnerable according to the IUCN Red List.
