Returning with a striking 3-track EP, Swiss producer Dan Sushi delivers his ‘Orbital’ EP on Purified Records. Opening with the title track, he showcases his powerful sound with undulating synths, dramatic instrumentation and hard-hitting bass. Moving into ‘Homecoming’, a driving arrangement develops throughout its duration, combining heavy percussive elements with soaring keys. Rounding it off with ‘Storm’, Dan Sushi crafts an entrancing atmosphere to close the EP, taking over control with rolling rhythms, staccato chords and thunderous bass.

The ‘Orbital’ artwork features a mesmerizing image of a reef shark amidst a school of fish, captured by Daniel Nicholson. Shockingly, less than 3% of the ocean is fully protected. This means overfishing, bottom trawling, and other destructive activities continue to wreak havoc on the ocean. Scientists say we must protect at least 30% of the ocean by 2030 to stabilize our climate, stop wildlife exploitation, and secure an equitable, healthy future for life everywhere.
